Caleb Addy

Originally from Montana, Caleb is a musician and engineer who was raised around audio. His interest in music led him to joining bands and would be tasked with recording their demos. Since moving to NYC he’s worked with artists and entities of all ilk including Q Lazzarus, Panopticon Films, DailyBurn365, Pure Dynamite, Janie Cooke and many others. Peter Karl

Peter Karl has been recording music since the age of 10 when he was given a cassette recorder by his parents. After working in the sound department at Channel 13 in New York City for nine years, he opened his own recording studio in Gowanus, right down the street from Douglass Recording (on the very same block.) It was highly regarded for more than 2 decades, where Peter recorded greats including Norah Jones, Reggie Workman and Arturo O’Farrill. He’s now made Douglass Recording his home, and we couldn’t be happier to have his extensive knowledge, skill, and awful/awesome dad jokes.
